My name is Inez! I am a mom, blogger and social media strategist. My passion is helping moms pursue the things that make them happy whether it’s a stroll through Target alone or starting a business! Most of my days are spent chasing my dreams and my toddler but when I get some spare time, I like to go to Sephora… or take a shower!
I have blogged off and on for years but mostly just as a way to jot down some thoughts. I really didn’t promote it much or put any effort into making it look nice. In May of 2015 at 38 weeks pregnant, I decided that I wanted to start a blog and get serious about blogging. I have wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl and I couldn’t imagine having to face my son one day and tell him I never pursued that dream. Blogging was a way for me to make that dream happen.
I have used a paper planner for years. I’ve used digital as well but I feel like physically writing things down helps me stay on track so much better.
I am using The Happy Planner. It was the one and only thing on my Christmas list!
I just have the one paper planner .
I am not that picky about a pen brand. But I guess I am picky in other ways. It has to be black ink and I prefer if it has a little grip cushion… and is a click pen instead of having a cap.
If so, please share. Yes, I do! I have major events like birthdays and holidays written out for the entire year and any time something comes up for a future date (example, a wedding or vacation), I will write it in my calendar. About two weeks before the start of a new month, I write in all the rest for that month. This includes my blog post titles and everything else I plan to do.
I mostly buy on Amazon but Michael’s carries Happy Planner supplies, too, which is pretty exciting to me!
Make a list of the things you want to be able to do with your planner. For example, I like to be able to do pretty much everything, including jot down notes in my planner. Not all planners give you a place to do things like write daily to do lists or have a notes section. If you don’t have an idea of what you want to be able to do, you might end up being disappointed.
I am a 24 year old currently living in DMV area. I’m a full time college student majoring in public relations. When I’m not blogging I’m either with my family, boyfriend, friends, shopping, working, doing homework or at church. I love trying new restaurants, watching sunrises and sunsets, I’m not a fan of summer and fall is my favorite. Philippians 4:13 is my favorite verse and is what I owe my confidence to.
Sophisticated Fashionista began in 2015 as an outlet for to inspire women in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and everything in between. As a proud Latina, my blog has evolved into a bilingual platform for women all over the world. My goal is to build a place of empowerment and to remind women of their unique beauty.
I started blogging in January 2015. I always loved fashion and dressing up, my friends and family often asked me for style advice and took me shopping with them to help them pick out clothes. Then they began telling me to start my own fashion blog and after a while I decided to take their advice and Sophisticated Fashionista was born.
I started using a paper planner since I was in middle school.

Most planner companies have free printables of their page layouts, I advise you to print a few and try them out. There are a ton of different brands and layouts which means not all are for you. Find your perfect planner by trying out different layouts.
