Hi everyone & Happy Monday! We woke up to a light layer of snow covering the car and the ground. Today I am going to be sharing my goals for the month and what I have been up to the last few days. I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Manny and I spent it very low-key at home in our sweats relaxing while watching Netflix. I made a pork shoulder, red rice, stuffing and tostones (plantains). I do like turkey but not enough to make one myself and I made a ham last year.
The weather here in Connecticut has been bouncing back and forth between warm to slightly cold enough so to turn the heat on. The best bet is to just dress in layers so that you’re always prepared for this time of year. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping and that’s a good thing because around this time of year, the closest mall is a nightmare to go to in fact it is best to just avoid that entire area altogether. I went to a plaza near the mall yesterday to go to Marshall’s and I couldn’t believe how many people were there.
If you follow me on Snapchat, then you know all about my lovely car chronicles. Well I finally got the clutch replaced and now it feels like I am learning to drive stick shift all over again. I have to get used to it and break it in. It’s always something but at least I am not worried about getting stuck anywhere.
