September Goals

Happy 1st of September everyone! Although August was a long month, it went by quickly because I am already sharing my goals for the new month. Before I get into that, let me start off by telling you that my son started his sophomore year of high school today. I had to beg him to let me take a picture even though he wouldn’t smile for me either. I guess this would be considered typical teenage behavior. I suppose that today also marks the official end of summer for me as I no longer have Fridays off. It will be a little hard to go to work tomorrow but at least we have Monday off for Labor Day.

If you read my last post on Tuesday, you would have heard all about my wonderful weekend that was spent suffering from the worst toothache I’ve ever had in my life. I went to the dentist on Monday morning and was immediately referred to the oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth removed. I went for the consultation yesterday and I will be having the top and bottom left wisdom teeth removed in a couple of weeks.

I took the day off from work yesterday so that I could spend one last day with my son before he went back to school. I went to renew my driver’s license first thing in the morning, then we went to the gym and to grab a bite for lunch at our favorite place which just happens to be Chipotle. We spent the majority of the day at home just relaxing and making sure that he had everything ready for today.

I have to be honest when I say that my goals for this month are pretty much the same as they were last month both personal and blog related. Whatever I wasn’t able to accomplish last month, I will continue to work on. My main goal for last month was just to spend as much time with my son as possible and everything else was set aside. He’s getting older and I want to focus on spending as much time with him as I can while he still wants to hang out with me.

Let’s get right into it. Here is a mini list of my goals for the new month:

Blog Goals

As I’ve stated before, blogging only when I want to is so much more relaxing. I feel that I am much more inspired when ideas just come to me naturally.

I do want to film more You Tube videos very soon so make sure that you are subscribed to my channel so that you will be the first to know when a new video is uploaded.

In case you missed it, I no longer have a FB page dedicated to my blog. You could always subscribe to my blog to get email updates every time I post something new!

Personal Goals

I had a huge planner fail last month as three entire weeks went by and I didn’t write down a single thing at all. I am not exactly sure how I made it to today as I have relied on my planner for over a year to keep me organized and on top of everything. What can I say? I let the ball drop but I’m proud to say that will not happen again.

I decided that I will not be running in the Labor Day 5k and that is quite okay with me. As long as I continue going to the gym regularly, I will be content with that. Now I just need to work up the courage to take a spin class that I keep hearing so much about.

I will try to post more on Instagram Stories but I have to be honest when I say that I’m just not a fan of it yet. I still prefer Snapchat so if you’re not following me already, you should definitely add me.

Well that wraps up my goals for the month of September. As always, I love to hear from you. The Fall/Autumn season will be here before we know it. Are you ready? What are you favorite things about the season?
