TGIF! I am so excited that you all enjoyed my last blog post about my planner so I decided to do another! Today I will be reviewing the 365 Happy Planner Kit by Me & My Big Ideas. I purchased this kit at my local Michael’s about two weeks ago. I purchased my first Happy Planner at Hobby Lobby several months ago and I love it. I use it to help me manage my blog. I wanted to purchase another planner to use strictly for Fitness. Unfortunately they were sold out of the actual Fitness planner kit however because the planners in the kit are undated, you have the ability to customize it / start using it whenever you are ready.
The planner kits are priced at $34.99. NOTE: At this time, I am not certain as to whether they are still available at Michael’s. I was informed that they were going to be a seasonable item however I could be wrong. Unfortunately the Happy Planner kits are not available at Hobby Lobby. You can still purchase the Happy Planner for $24.99 (before coupon) and all of their stickers separately at both Michael’s and Hobby Lobby however they will not come with all of the stickers and extra goodies that you would receive in the kit. *The Happy Planners that are sold in stores are 18 month planners. The planner that comes in the kit is for 12 months.
I just checked the Me & My Big Ideas website and while they do not have the exact planner kit that I purchased, they do have the one below. If you would like to purchase one, I have provided a link for you.
What I love most about this planner are the beautiful and colorful motivational quotes on all of the dividers that separate each month. I think that it is awesome that they incorporated this into the planner as we can all use some extra motivation in our lives at one point or another.
At the end of each month, you will see a page that allows you to enter specific details as if it were a little recap of each month.
Because the planner is undated, they included these sticker sheets with enough numbers to fill out only the monthly calendars at the beginning of each section. You will have to number the days on the weekly calendar yourself. They do include stickers to identify each monthly tab and also for each monthly calendar section.
My second favorite items are the page flags that you can insert right into the arc discs so that you can always have them handy for whenever you may need them. The magnetic bookmarks are awesome to mark the page of what month and week that you are currently in.
My overall opinion is that The Happy Planner is awesome because you can customize it in so many different ways. Not only can you add your own touch to it, you cannot pass it up for the price. Many people have compared this planner to the Erin Condren planner because of the set up in regards to the separate monthly calendar layout and the weekly calendar is also split into three sections. If you think that this specific set up would be something that would work for you, then I personally recommend that you purchase the Happy Planner.
If you purchase it at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby, you can use a 40% or 50% coupon (whichever is available at that time) and the planner would only cost between $18-$21. The price for a basic/non personalized Erin Condren planner is $50. That’s a huge price difference! Here’s another great reason: The Happy Planner stickers that are sold separately also retail for less than most of the Erin Condren stickers and accessories.
Well I hope that you all have enjoyed my review of this amazing planner and that I have provided you with enough information to help convince you that it is definitely worth purchasing. In a future post, I will share how I have decorated both my blog and my fitness planners. As always, I love to hear from you all so please leave me a comment and let me know if you own a Happy Planner and what is your overall opinion of it.
