Happy Wednesday! It is insane that we have officially reached the half year mark. Today I am going to be sharing my goals for the new month. I am ready to cross some major things off of my to do list and continue working on my goals from the previous months.
The weather here in CT has not improved much and I am hoping for less rain and more sun. Thankfully it’s supposed to warm up in the next few days so I am looking forward to that. I finished the last of the cleaning and purging last weekend so I can officially say my spring cleaning is complete. If you are interested in learning how I streamlined my spring cleaning process, let me know in the comments below and maybe I’ll do a post about it soon.
I know that I am not the only one who is guilty of this but I have been spending way too much time on Pinterest. I have been browsing through my feed looking for new outfit inspiration and I didn’t realize until recently that all of my clothes are what is described as a capsule wardrobe. If you don’t know what that is, I will be happy to explain. It can be best described as owning simple wardrobe pieces in the basic colors and pairing them together to make casual or dressy yet trendy outfit combinations. You can also check out my Pinterest board where I have saved multiple pins about capsule wardrobes for fashion and accessory Inspiration.
ON THAT NOTE, LET’S GET STARTED WITH MY GOALS FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE
Newsletters & Email Subscribers // While this is a major task that I continue to work on every month, I am excited to announce that I finally created and sent my very first newsletter a few weeks ago and I am ready to start sending them out a little more frequently. I have been watching a few webinars that have been helping me find new ways to brainstorm about future newsletter content. If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter yet, you can become a TIL Insider by clicking here. (TIL – The Innovative Latina) *NOTE: If you do subscribe, please be sure to double-check your email inbox as you will need to confirm your email subscription.
Guest Posting // I feel that I have reached the point in my blogging journey where I would love to have other amazing bloggers guest post on my blog. As you know, I am a lifestyle blogger which means that I like to write about a variety of topics. If you are a blogger and would like to brainstorm some guest post ideas, pop me an email so that we can chat further.
Blog Series Success // I am proud to say that my blog series Bloggers Plan Too was a huge success. I couldn’t be happier with the feedback that I have received and all of the love that you showed me here on my blog and on Instagram. If you missed any part of the series, you can start by reading the introduction post which includes the links to all thirteen featured blogger interviews.
Increase Instagram following & Post More // Instagram is my biggest following therefore I have to be honest when I say that I despise the whole algorithm thing. I know that I am not the only blogger that feels this way so I find some comfort in knowing that I am not alone in this. We work really hard to post great content and to engage and interact with our followers. If you’re not following me on IG already, head on over and hit that Follow button.
Sponsorships // A new month is a new chance to Sponsor me so that I can advertise for your blog/business. In addition to talking about your business here on my blog, I will also broadcast your posts / website on Twitter, Instagram and mentions on my Snapchat. If you are interested, you can visit my page for more information.
Planner of the month // I’ve recently decided to give the Erin Condren planner another try. I purchased one on clearance at Staples (thanks to my Ibotta cash back rewards – more on that in a future blog post). I purchased the horizontal layout and so far it’s working out great. You can check out this week’s layout here. As you will see, I now have more space to write in the weekly sections. I also started using a Daily Action Planner to help me manage my blog. I will be doing a full review on it at the end of the month so make sure to stay tuned for that.
Fitness // I have been going back to the gym and as soon as the weather stays consistent, I can go back to walking too. I have yet to take my bike to the shop to get my handlebars re wrapped but as soon as I do, I will be riding again. As long as I get back on and get some miles in either along the beach or our local cycling trail, that’s all that matters to me.
Finances // I am still going strong and just completed my fifth consecutive NO SPEND month. It gets easier as the months go by.
Cook More / eat out less // Proud to say that I am still doing great with this one!
Well that wraps up my goals for the new month and now it is my turn to ask you what your goals are for the new month. Do you have any goals that you weren’t able to accomplish last month but will continue to work on moving forward?
