Get To Know Me: Fall Edition

Well here we are, one week into the fall/autumn season and I have already swapped out my summer clothes with my sweaters, boots, etc., I wanted to take this opportunity to share my favorite things about this season with you all.

Here is a list of my favorite things this time of year

  • My son’s birthday (He will be 14 this Saturday, just started high school and he’s officially taller than me. Can we make time go slower please?)
  • Scarves, boots, and hoodies
  • Candy Corn
  • Hot chocolate
  • Pumpkin Coffee (I thank my brother for introducing me to this addiction. Note: I will only drink the pumpkin swirl from Dunkin Donuts.  No pumpkin spice from Starbucks for me.)
  • Pumpkin pie with cool whip
  • Great frizz free hair days
  • Turkey and Stuffing (it’s the only time of year that I eat Turkey)
  • Cozy movie nights snuggled under a fuzzy blanket on the couch
  • Awesome shopping sales during Thanksgiving week
  • My leopard print one piece pajama

Well that sums up my list.  What are your favorite things about the fall/autumn season? What are your least favorite? I can tell you that my least favorite part is when it gets so dark outside in the early evening hours but I try to enjoy this season as much as possible because here in the northeast, the winter comes very quickly. Leave me a comment below and let me know.

I’m not a huge fan of candy corn but for the sake of the season, I’ll have a few. My son loves hot chocolate.

Aww thank you! I can’t get enough of my pumpkin swirl coffee more so than pumpkin pie. I’m ready for all of it (just not the real cold weather that is coming sooner than I’d like)

Love this list. I seem to only eat baked turkey once a year too lol. It’s so yummy with stuffing, isn’t it?

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who indulges in turkey just on Thanksgiving and I have always loved stuffing! Have you ever tried cutting up either a green apple or a pear and cooking it inside of the stuffing? YUMMY!

I took out a few fall decorations so far. I want to either buy or create a cute centerpiece for my dining room table.

Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons!

Love the bright, vibrant and stunning colors and chilly temps.

Putting on extra layers and wearing sweaters (along with a good cup of coffee) makes me happy 🙂

Thanks for inspiring me to make a list.

Above all, it makes me feel more grateful!

My grandmother lives in Florida and the one thing she misses the most about CT are the changing colors, the foliage, etc. I agree about layering up and having coffee is always a good thing. I can’t wait to read your list! Definitely grateful for all that I have.
