Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! As promised, today I am bringing you a quick fitness update and I will also be sharing my favorite workout essentials. Since my last post, I have been consistent with working out three times a week either at the gym or in my own home (with the exception of the fact that I burned my hand almost two weeks ago so I stayed out of the gym during this time). If you are following me on Instagram, then you have already noticed that I have been posting more fitness related pictures over the course of the past couple of months.
I recently posted a mini fitness update with the hopes of encouraging you all to find some time to go for a walk. I wanted to share my future workouts and anything else fitness related to help support and motivate others who want to start and/continue to live a healthier lifestyle. DISCLAIMER: I am aware that I am not a fitness expert nor will I portray to be. I simply know what works best for me.
You can see in the photo below that I have been keeping track of what I do in the fitness section of my planner.
I needed some coffee so this was my chance to get some steps in for this work health challenge! I joined to give myself an incentive to get outside & away from my desk! Let’s get to the fun stuff. These are my favorite workout essentials and the exercise equipment that I use at home on days when I don’t go to the gym. These items help keep me motivated and get me through my workouts.
- Armband for my phone (I need my phone handy so this is a must. You can find them almost everywhere and for a very reasonable price.)
- Comfortable workout clothes
- Headphones (I alternate between my over the head Beats and a set of wireless bluetooth earbuds that I purchased at Staples)
- Water bottle
- Sneakers (I have both running and cross training sneakers)

So that wraps up this mini fitness update. I hope that by sharing what I have been up to here on my blog and the pictures that I post on Instagram, encourages you all to either want to start living a healthier life and/or motivate you to continue doing whatever works best for you.
