I cannot even believe that it is already February and here I am sharing my goals for the new month. I have read this quote all over the internet in the last two days “I’ve decided that my 2017 is going to start February 1st…This was a free trial month”. I may not have accomplished everything on my to do list but the month went by so quickly that I didn’t even have time to stress about it.
If you have been reading my blog for a while, then you already know that I binge watched Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix and I couldn’t be happier that the current season is back from the winter hiatus. My favorite thing about watching this show is that my son Manny watches it with me. I also started watching Blue Bloods on Netflix and I am already on the third season. If you love cop dramas, you will love this show too. Tom Selleck plays a bad a** police commissioner in New York City. I will also admit that maybe just maybe another reason I love the show is because my favorite member of New Kids on The Block, Donnie Wahlberg plays his son who is an awesome detective.
It’s time to celebrate my two year “BloggerPlanAversary” and I couldn’t be more excited to see what this new year will bring for me both here on my blog and in my personal life. As always, we have to look at each new month as an opportunity to work harder to accomplish our goals. As I’ve stated before, many of my goals will remain the same throughout each month so that I can continue to grow and to improve on specific tasks.
ON THAT NOTE, LET’S GET TO IT.
New series coming soon – As I mentioned in my last post, I am finalizing some details on a miniseries that I have been working on before the new year started. I don’t want to give away any information yet but just know that I am super excited for all you to check it out. Make sure to stay tuned as I have two surprise guests joining in on the fun!
Instagram – If you follow me on Instagram, then you have noticed that I have been more active in posting on Instagram Stories. I will continue to make a daily effort to post more often. If you’re not following me already, head on over and hit that Follow button.
Email Subscribers – As I mentioned before, this is a tough part of blogging. I have only gained two new email subscribers since my last goals post. I am confident that I can continue to encourage more of my readers to subscribe. I do feel slightly relieved to know that I am not the only blogger that has had difficulty with this aspect of blogging.
Sponsorships – It’s a new month which means you still have time to Sponsor me so that I can advertise for your blog/business. In addition to talking about your business here on my blog, I will also broadcast on Twitter, post on Instagram and talk about it on my Snapchat. If you are interested, you can visit my page for more information. If you have any further questions, you can send me an email so that we discuss your options.
Guest Post / Collab with other bloggers – Last month, I had the opportunity to guest post on Love Yesi and she also did an awesome post here on my blog too. I am definitely looking forward to doing more guest posts / collaborations this year. Both guest blog posts were dedicated to all of our planner girls out there and I hope that you all take a moment to check them out if you haven’t already.
Use the same Planner for the whole year – I have to be honest when I say that I love my mini Happy Planner. Make sure to tune in as I have been posting pictures on my weekly layouts on my new page. It is the perfect size for me to carry daily and I purchased the hole punch which will allow me to customize it to my personal style.
Fitness – The weather hasn’t been too bad however I do need to improve on going more than once a week. I will admit that I didn’t start the year off as I had planned however I will be making more of a conscious effort to get myself there. Once I am there, I am so happy that I went but it’s the motivation to get there is what I need more of.
Finances – I am on an indefinite no spend because it is the only way that I am going to accomplish my financial goals this year. This will be the year that I get a new car! I will keep you all posted!
Cook More / eat out less – Ok, I am proud to say that I have been successful in cooking more during the week. The goal is to decide what to make early so that I can be prepared when I get home so I can get started. If I am going to eat out, it’s either going to be at Chipotle or a DiGiorno Chicken Parmigiana pizza. We have been buying them at the grocery store lately and they are the perfect size to satisfy the pizza craving.
Well that wraps up my goals for the new month and now it is my turn to ask you what your goals are for the new month. Do you have any that you weren’t able to accomplish last month but will continue to work on moving forward?
