 1. When did you start blogging and what made you want to start?

I started blogging back in 2011 but officially turned it into something serious in 2016. I use to read blogs constantly, and one day just decided to try out my own. It’s turned into more than just a hobby. It’s now a passion of mine. It helped me realize that I wanted to make a career in writing.

2. When did you first start using a paper planner?

I’ve been a planner nerd since I can remember. Back in elementary school they gave us agendas, and I use to be the one who had it all decorated and beautified. It was covered in stickers and colored pens and markers. I have a collection of planners since the year 2009.

3. What planner are you using for the new year?

I have gone back and forth on my favorite planners many times. In the last three years  I switched from Erin Condren, to Kate Spade, back to Erin Condren. I believe I finally have found planner piece with the Erin Condren life planners. I like that I can personalize it and make it my own without havng to overdue it. The older I’ve become the more I realize that I like planner simplicity.

4. How many planners do you own?

Just One. It’s like my bible. I have everything in it. From my blog stuff, to my workout regimine, to appointments and everything in between.

5. If more than one, what do you use each one for?

Sorry doesn’t apply to me lol <3

6. What is your favorite pen to write with?

I use the Papermate Flair Markers in every color. It’s just so easy to write with in the Erin Condren planners. They don’t seap through and they don’t smudge!

7. Do you have a planning routine? If so, please share.

Not really. I plan whenever I have time available. Usually it’s either at break during work, or at night when I go home. I plan everyday. I plan what’s coming up during the next week and month, and fill it in or change it up daily.

8. Favorite store to shop for planner goodies?

Hobby Lobby, and Michaels. Michaels now has the most amazing planner section. They have the Create 365 planner section. It has stickers, Pens, and even their own planners!!

9. Any recommendations / advice for someone who is just starting out in the planner community?

Take it at your own pace. Don’t let the planner addict craze overwhelm you. I use to think that to have the cutest planner, it needed to be just like those Youtubers. I was so wrong. You can have the cutest planner, as long as you love it. Also If you want it to be plain and simple thats perfect. If you want it to be super colorful that’s fine too. It’s your planner you do what you want with it!

The Kate Spade is such a chic planner! Love, love ECLP’s also.

The Kate Spade planners are gorgeous but for me there wasn’t enough room between the inserts and the zipper closure. The ECLP was my first planner ever and I couldn’t find my groove with that one either LOL
