I know that I am not alone when I say that buying new workout clothes does help in the motivation factor when it comes to working out. Now I know what you’re thinking but let me assure you that my real motivation is to be healthy and fit but it doesn’t hurt to treat yourself to a few new things. With that said, I ventured out to my local outlet mall and let me just say that the savings were substantial. In my family, I am known for scoring some amazing deals when I go shopping because I like to get the most for my money.
If you are interested in purchasing new workout clothes without spending a fortune, I recommend that you sign up to receive promotional emails from your favorite stores and some of them even mail you coupons too! Also make sure to check Kohl’s, Target, Forever 21, T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s too because they have great selection of workout apparel. You should definitely download the app Retail Me Not because you can always check to see what discounts they are offering at various stores before heading out.
Here is a list of what I purchased recently:
Victoria’s Secret Pink: 2 Tees, Ultimate Yoga leggings and skinny sweats – Total: $50
Nike Outlet: I found the Nike Bionics training sneakers that I have wanted for so long for only $31 (originally $100). I was a little bummed out that they did not have the workout leggings that I was looking for.
Under Armour: I purchased a thermal running jacket (great for the cold weather so there’s no more excuses there), graphic tee, all season workout leggings, a crew sweatshirt – Total: $115! Now you know that this was a major win because all of this would have cost double at another store.
Aeropostale: Two words: MAJOR Sale. I told myself that I wouldn’t spend more than $50 but then an employee handed me a coupon for $10 off a $40 purchase! Uh hello! So I purchased a gray pair of joggers, a gray & neon pink workout shirt with thumb holes in the sleeves, gray yoga leggings, and a water bottle – Total: $40!
All in all, I was very happy because I purchased some awesome stuff and I saved over $100. Needless to say, I’m all set for quite a while! Now all that’s left to do is WORKOUT!
