APRIL GOALS

Today I am going to be sharing my goals for the month of April. Can we just talk about the fact that this year is already flying by! I admitted in a past post that I just did not even bother with sharing my goals for last month because I simply had way too much going on. The weather here in Connecticut has been quite the teaser between either raining nonstop and sneaking in some sunshine here and there.

This morning I had the perfect outfit planned and I had to stop and think to myself if wearing boots will be acceptable seeing as to how the spring season started a couple of weeks ago. I just shook my head and said “oh well, it doesn’t feel like spring yet!” Inevitably that means that I will have to start my spring cleaning next weekend so that I can go through my bin of shoes and take out the ones that I can wear in slightly warmer temps.

FEBRUARY GOALS REVISITED

New Blog Series – As mentioned, my blog series Bloggers Plan Too kicked off on Friday March 3rd. If you missed the Introduction post, make sure to check out my quick intro video followed by the links for the first six weeks of the series thus far. So far, six bloggers/planner ladies have been featured in my weekly Friday series. We have officially reached the halfway point therefore I will be sharing Surprise Guest # 1 this Friday so make sure to stay tuned for that post! If you aren’t Subscribed yet, make sure that you do so you will always be notified of new posts.

Instagram Stories – If you follow me on Instagram, then you have noticed that I have definitely been more active in posting more content. I have mini reminders to make sure that I keep this momentum going. If you’re not following me already, head on over and hit that Follow button.

Email Subscribers – This continues to be a tough task to do. No matter how much I try to encourage my readers to subscribe, it’s still a struggle. I will need to think of more creative ways to suggest it in the future. If you do subscribe, then please be sure to check your email as you will need to confirm your email subscription. If any of my fellow bloggers have any advice or tips, I’d love to hear them.

PERSONAL GOALS

Planner – Here we are in April and I am still using and loving my mini happy planner. I posted a few IG Stories last night as I finally did a little DIY planner hack to make the pages in my planner sturdier as I tend to take them out and put them back in when I am actually writing stuff down. You can check that out here and while you’re there, you can also see pictures that I posted of various planner layouts and find out which stickers that I used.

Fitness – After my recent minor health ordeal, which you can read about here and here, I finally went back to the gym yesterday. I just wanted to get my legs moving again so I did 15 minutes on the elliptical and another 10 on the Stair master. This week I will work my way back into weights. It felt good to be back in the gym again. Also hopefully once the weather warms up, I’ll be getting outside more even if it’s just to walk along the beach.

Finances – I have successfully completed another NO SPEND month. Disclaimer: My no spend consists of not spending any money on planner stuff, stationary of any kind and staying away from the Target Dollar Spot area. I’ve come to the realization that I prefer to use that money on treating myself to something else and continuing to pay off bills. I also accomplished a major goal that was mentioned in a previous goals post so Yeayy for me! I’ll share it soon, I promise.

FUN FACT: I cut the cord on cable and purchased the Amazon Fire Stick. So far, it’s pretty good. I also purchased the Roku streaming stick so that my son and I can share it. When one of us is watching television in the living room where the Firestick is installed, the other can use the Roku in their bedroom. Of course, I kept my high speed internet and eventually I will purchase my own modem so that I can save that $10 monthly rental feel too. I am also cancelling Netflix in two weeks as I actually prefer Hulu at the moment so that will be another $10 saved! I’m on a roll lol

Cook More / eat out less – I am proud to say that I am still going strong with this one!
